The project involved identifying the key levers for cost reduction at two of the largest locations at two sites that involved multiple products. Total financial benefits identified were in excess of INR 15 crs.
LSS SME for EBIDTA Improvement for a leading auto component firm – Client is a leading manufacturer and Tier 1 supplier for major Indian auto OEMs. The project involved leveraging Lean & Six Sigma toolkit to identify NVAs within the value chain and improve the process & financial performance. Major levers addressed Quality rejections, throughput enhancement, manpower productivity and manufacturing related wastages that led to financial benefits of around INR 9 crs.
Engagement Lead for EBIDTA improvement for a Polyester Chip & Yarn manufacturer – Client is one of the foremost Polyester Chip and Yarn manufacturer in India with multiple plants across the globe. The project entailed profit oriented planning for the upstream chip manufacturing facility and cost optimization for the downstream yarn manufacturing facilities. Lean Six Sigma approach was leveraged to identify improvement opportunities across Throughput Enhancement, Quality improvement, Energy Conservation, Cost Reduction & Planning Optimization.
Led the Delivery for multiple waves of Lean Six Sigma deployment for an Indian Life Sciences MNC- Client is one of the largest Generics manufacturer with presence across the world in different countries. Ashit led the initial waves across multiple plants that involved conceptualizing the program (Executive Launch, Project Selection, BB & GB trainings, Mentoring/Coaching and Reviews etc.). The success of the program resulted in the client entrusting the consultant with setting up the Operational Excellence function and permeating the Lean Six Sigma journey across all manufacturing locations.
