Anoushka is a multi-award winning GenZ social entrepreneur and human rights activist. A Forbes India 30 Under 30 Honouree with a special mention in the Education Category, Anoushka has spent the past decade advocating for education, gender equality and human rights reform and reached over a million people with her advocacy, entrepreneurship and activism. She is also a Diana award recipient which is the highest accolade a young person can receive for their social impact, awarded by H.R.H. William and H.R.H Harry and the Royal Family in the UK, in memory of Princess Diana. She was also awarded by one of India’s largest media companies the TIMES Group and FEMINA as a FEMINA Achievers Award Recipient for Excellence in human rights activism. Named by Business World as a power lister in their social impact leaders and changemakers list. She is also one of the youngest 75 inspirational women honored by UN Women and The Ford Foundation. Anoushka has also been honoured as one of the 50 Leading Lights in Business and Leadership by The Women Of The Future Programme, KPMG and Asia Square in Asia Pacific alongside leaders like Sir Jimmy Choo. The World Bank recognised her as an ‘Exemplary Reform Leader’ at age 21, she currently serves as one of their youngest advisors to date for their S4YE Initiative. Awarded by UNICEF as champion for women and girls, named by GirlUp, UN Foundation as their Feminist Icon, Anoushka’s work and advocacy efforts have been also recognised and awarded by Taco Bell Foundation, Ashoka, Peace First. She has also grown her youth-led, UN SDG focused organization from ground up and has made a global footprint in 40+ countries with her work there as its founder. She has reached over a million people through her advocacy and has impacted over 125,000 youth globally through role as founder and director of her award winning youth-led SDG focused organization. A Points Of Light Honor Roll inductee by former US president George W Bush she is also one of the youngest fellows to be ever elected into the prestigious Royal Society of Arts, London joining the elite company of fellows like Marie Curie, Benjamin Franklin and Karl Marx. Anoushka’s justice and human rights work led her to be appointed by NYU’s Centre On International Cooperation as one of their five young justice leaders, the youngest in the cohort spearheading monumental justice work for women and girls in the global south. She has served as an ambassador for UNEP as a teen, and is currently serving her second term on the Young People Action Team as a youth advisor for Generation Unlimited At UNICEF, and as the Steering committee member with UNESCO’s largest youth community the GYC. She is a part of the Forbes Women network, an elite invite only network created by Moira Forbes and made up of leading women in business and leadership. Anoushka’s global impact has been covered by NASDAQ, Financial Times, NDTV, Times Of India among others and her work has been exhibited at multiple Times Square billboards including the iconic NASDAQ marketsite billboard in New York City where her work was celebrated as a part of the NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center. She continues to be a fierce advocate for women and is continuing to lead change for young people around the world through her advocacy, activism and redefining what the next generation of business leaders, changemakers and world shapers looks like.
