Gayatri Varun
Founder & CEO
Green Hermitage
Gayatri’s journey began in the heart of Africa.
After studying law, she went on to work there with farmer groups to switch cooking methods to more energy-efficient cookstoves.
After working in the climate change field for almost 2 years, she went on to pursue an MSc in Climate Change and Sustainable Development on a 100% scholarship from the University of Leeds.
Gayatri has been a passionate advocate of climate change for a decade now and has always wanted to focus on how urban masses approached consumption and to create a transition towards conscious consumerism and minimalism through sustainable products.
Ever since she returned to India, she has got on board the journey of creating something special and enabling the natural ecosystem to get back to its original state – clean, balanced, and beautiful.
Green Hermitage, her brainchild, envisions a fashion industry transformed by sustainability, crafted from eco-conscious materials, and a societal shift towards meaningful change.
This is just the beginning.
Her story goes beyond products. She is committed to making a positive impact, an impact that will last for generations.
Imagine luxurious handbags and travel accessories not just as fashion statements but as catalysts for change.
Green Hermitage is committed to increasing livelihoods, providing employment opportunities for women, and fostering economic growth in countries like India.
In the world of Green Hermitage, every thread tells a story of passion, purpose, and a fierce determination to redefine fashion.
