An engineer by education and a passionate problem-solver, Shivam Shahi is the Co-Founder of Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, India’s leading specialty coffee company. An alumnus of the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, Shivam hails from Padrauna, a small town in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, and holds an M.Sc. from the University of Alberta, Canada. After a brief stint as a research engineer, he returned to India to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions.

Shivam has been instrumental in driving Blue Tokai’s growth by focusing on quality, sustainability, and innovation. From introducing consumer-friendly coffee products like Easy Pour sachets and Cold Brew Bags to enhancing operations and customer satisfaction, he has consistently worked to redefine India’s coffee culture. His vision is to make Indian specialty coffee more accessible and desirable, creating a thriving community around coffee while empowering partner farms and supporting the local ecosystem.
