Suraj Saharan is a visionary entrepreneur with a strong background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management. As Co-founder and Chief People Officer of Delhivery, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Suraj’s leadership has been pivotal in expanding Delhivery’s operations, which now encompass over 85 fulfillment centers, 29 automated sort centers, 160 hubs, 7,500+ partner centers, and 3,500+ direct delivery centers across India. His focus on integrating technology with logistics solutions has significantly enhanced operational efficiencies, contributing to Delhivery’s position as a market leader in India’s logistics sector.
 
Before co-founding Delhivery in 2011, Suraj honed his skills as a consultant at Bain & Company, where he advised clients across various sectors, including private equity, healthcare, and logistics. His work with prominent clients such as Fortis, NTPC, Modi Group, and Actis provided him with a diverse perspective on business operations and strategy.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Suraj holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, providing him with a solid foundation in technical and analytical skills essential for driving innovation in the logistics industry.
