Dr. Bhavna Sharma is the Head of Nutrition Science Department and lead CSR at ITC Foods Division, Bangalore. She also leads ITC’s Sustainable Nutrition agenda. She leads  policy & projects which support Nutri-Agri ecosystem, women empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, Plastic waste management and Nutrition enhancement (anaemia & malnutrition) in the most vulnerable target groups (children below 5, pregnant women & nursing mothers, adolescent young girls, geriatrics etc). She is a recipient of many prestigious awards namely- “Excellence in Nutritional Leadership” (by Ministry of Food Processing), “Business Excellence Award for Nutritional strategy” etc, she is also the member of many national/international nutrition & regulatory groups within the Poshan 2.0, UNSDG20230 targets, Farm2Fork ecosystem. She is part of B20 Adolescent Nutrition vertical, CII National Nutrition committee and on the Board of PFNDAI.  

She is a PhD in Nutrition from the University of Delhi in collaboration with Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences (Defence Research Development Organization) has published many papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented work in many academic forums.
