As president of APAC, Jan is responsible for go-to-market implementation and honing customer-centric solutions for customers in the region. In his previous role, Jan was vice president for global markets where he oversaw Fluence’s global sales and product marketing efforts. 

Prior to joining Fluence, Jan led development of Siemens’ global energy storage business, as well as serving in senior marketing and sales capacities for Eaton’s solar inverter business and Siemens in southeast Asia. Jan has worked in the fields of product development, project management, sales and marketing for over 20 years and has a deep understanding of existing power grids and the challenges they face. 

While employed by major distribution systems suppliers in Europe and several Asian countries, he built broad knowledge in power distribution products and systems and solutions, for conventional and power electronics-based technologies. 

Jan holds a degree in electrical engineering from University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern.
