Lene leads Maersk’s global efforts on sustainability and ESG strategy, reporting, governance, engagement and trendspotting. She has 25 years of experience in corporate sustainability, sits on corporate boards and is Chair of the Global Compact Network Denmark. She is co-author of a book on integrating sustainability into corporate strategy (Squaring the Sustainability Circle) and holds a master’s degree from the Copenhagen Business School.
