With more than 20 years of experience across the utilities sector, Somesh leads the Power and Utiliites sector of EY India, and supports the Government, regulators and energy companies as they tackle the unprecedented transformation of India’s energy sector. 

A regular contributor to discussions in India’s media around the transition of the coutnry’s energy sector, Somesh is also a regular speaker at industry events. 

Prior to joining EY, he served in a senior role at a major Indian utility company, where he harnessed deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape. 

He earned a commerce degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant.
