Distinguished Academic Leader<\/strong>: Prof. (Dr) Anil Kashyap is the first President and Chancellor of NICMAR University, with over 28 years of experience in academia, research, and practice in India and internationally.<\/p>\n

Expert in Built Environment Research<\/strong>: Specializes in energy-efficient buildings, smart cities, urban regeneration, and infrastructure development, with extensive research funded by prestigious international bodies such as the European Union and RICS Education Trust.<\/p>\n

Educational Background<\/strong>: Holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra, a Master\u2019s in Urban Planning from the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, and a Ph.D. from the University of Ulster, UK. He is also a Harvard University alumnus in Higher Education Leadership.<\/p>\n

Leadership Roles<\/strong>: Previously served as Head of School at UWE Bristol and held leadership positions at Coventry University and Ulster University before joining NICMAR.<\/p>\n

Memberships and Fellowships<\/strong>: Member of RICS, London; RTPI, London; ITPI, India; and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK.<\/p>\n

Publications and Research Contributions<\/strong>: Authored numerous journal articles and book chapters, with notable projects like ‘Urban Security’ and ‘Urban Regeneration.’<\/p>\n
