Aditi Srivastava
President
Pearl Academy
Aditi Srivastava is a seasoned institution builder and higher education leader with over 30 years of experience across corporate leadership and academia. As President of Pearl Academy, she leads one of India’s foremost creative education institutions, with campuses in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Jaipur, and a legacy of over three decades.
At a time when creative education lacked academic legitimacy, she helped introduce university-backed design degrees, expanding access to credible qualifications beyond metro cities. This was an early example of unlearning traditional hierarchies in education and recognising emerging disciplines as serious, structured career pathways.
At Pearl Academy, she has driven systemic transformation through centralised academic governance, uniform pedagogy, and outcome-driven standards, ensuring quality at scale while maintaining institutional agility. Under her leadership, the academy has redefined learning by integrating creativity with employability, industry immersion, and real-world problem solving.
She has also championed organisational relearning, training faculty and staff in AI and future-facing skills to ensure institutions evolve alongside industry. Her focus is not on technology as a trend, but as an enabler within a strong academic framework.
A strong advocate of skill-based empowerment, she believes education must create “Complete Professionals”, graduates who are adaptable, industry-ready, ethically grounded, and prepared for lifelong learning.
Her perspective as a woman leader, institution builder, and governance-focused academic head offers valuable insight into how legacy institutions can rethink systems, unlearn outdated models, and relearn continuously to remain relevant in a rapidly transforming education landscape.
