Dr. Lata Das, holds a doctoral degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She has varied experience in outreach, training, administration and management of health related interventions for over two decades. Her work has been with different social groups-street children, sex workers, migrant workers in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention. Her areas of interests are : Mental Health, Participatory Training Methodology, Life skill Education, Social Emotional Learning, Curriculum development, Qualitative Research, Continuous education and Lifelong Learning. She has served on Women and Gender Development Cell at TISS and Homi Bhabha National Institute. Currently, she works as a Faculty With Centre for Lifelong Learning, School of Social Work at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and engaged for a decade in the field of Health and Mental health and Soft Skills Training through teaching, training and research. She was awarded ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) Senior Research Fellowship from September 2008–May 2013.
