Dr Manish Jain, is founder CEO and at present, Chairman of Indus Business Academy. He is an Alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, a Mechanical Engineer, holds MBA in Marketing, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Finance & a PhD in Leadership.
Dr Jain’s has diversified experience and advises many SSI and MSMEs and has developed entrepreneurial acumen. He has been awarded at several platforms and he regularly attends conferences as a panel member, speaker and a participant. He has being chosen as an Education Evangelist by Forbes India in 2019. He has also received the Distinguished Service Award by AIMS International at a conference held at IIM Ahmedabad for his contribution to the development of management education in India.
He is a mentor to students and spends lot of time with current students and ex-students counselling and mentoring them. He also brings wealth of contacts from industry and helps students and faculty bridging the gap when required.
Dr. Jain is an avid speaker and is invited regularly to share his views in different areas. He was invited as panel member in 15th and 16th International Accreditation Conference held in Oct, 2022 and Oct, 2023. He was invited as a speaker in ‘EY4EV India Summit 2023’ on future of EV in India. He was also invited as a speaker in conference ‘Bridging Minds, shaping futures’ which was held in Mumbai on International Education Day (24th Jan, 2024).
Dr. Jain, also spoke at ‘11th Annual Humanistic Management Conference’ organised by Humanistic Management Network, Geneve, Switzerland and hosted by ‘IIM Nagpur’ on 27th Oct, 2023 on the theme of: Heritage, Legacy and Humanistic Management.
On August 12, 2023, occasion of Birth Anniversary of Rashtriya Kavi Shri. Maithili Sharan Gupt, Bharat Bharati organised Rashtriya Ekatmta Sammelan (Celebrating Unity in Diversity) to strengthen collective efforts on ‘Rashtriya Ekatmta’, on the theme ‘New India, One India’, Dr. Jain was awarded with Ekatmta & Udhmita Samman by Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal ji (Central Minister of Law and Justice of India) and LG Vinai Kumar Saxena (Lieutenant Governor of Delhi) in presence of Prof. (Dr.) Anil Sahasrabudhe (Chairman- NAAC, Chairman – NBA, Chairman – NETF), Dr. Pankaj Mittal (Secretary General – Association of Indian Universities – AIU), Shri Madhavan Pillai (one among two alive freedom fighters of Azad Hind Fauz who have worked directly under Subhash Chandra Bose), Dr. Vinay Patraleya (National President of Bharat Bharti) among senior captions from industry & society.
Dr. Jain was recently conferred the prestigious Fellowship of Association of Indian Management Scholars (AIMS) in December 2025. It was conferred at the Annual Conference of AIMS held at IIM Shillong. The award was conferred by Dr. Om Prakash Gupta, founder AIMS and Dr. Shiv Prakash Agarwal, Vice Chairman AIMS.
The honour is conferred for extraordinary contribution and leadership in the field of management education and also for his contribution in strengthening the organization.
Additionally and very recently Dr. Jain has been recognised for his Transformational Leadership in Management Education at 35th ELETS World Education Summit held on 4th and 5th of February 2026 in Dubai.
Prior to founding Indus Business Academy, Dr Jain had successful stints at reputed organizations such as MICO-Bosch and Tata-IBM and as a Director of Business Development at MUHEPL, which manufactures Heat Regenerative Systems and Heat Exchangers for Power Plants and Refineries.
