Dr. Sriparna Basu is the Dean (Academics) and Professor of Communication at FORE School of Management, New Delhi, with over 23 years of teaching and consulting experience across various industries. A Gold Medallist from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, she holds a Master’s and PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. Dr. Basu’s research focuses on digital cultures, interactive technologies, user behavior, responsible AI, and digital inclusivity, and she has contributed to policy projects evaluating digital impact in rural India. A prolific researcher, she has published in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Business Research and the International Journal of Information Management, and has presented at 17 national and international conferences. She has conducted training and consulting for organizations like ONGC, NHPC, Bayer, IFFCO, Indian Oil, Power Grid, MCL, and Mitsui. Recognized by Education Post (January 2021) as one of the top six women movers in education, Prof. Basu is also an award-winning case writer, with publications in Richard Ivey, William Davidson Institute at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, and the Asian Journal of Management Cases (AJMC). In addition, she has been a Visiting Professor at IIM Sambalpur for the past five years, teaches at IIM Nagpur, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of South Asian Survey, a journal published by SAGE.
