Joined Mithibai College as Assistant Professor and imparting education since last 34 years in the same College to undergraduate Postgraduate and Doctoral students 

As academician guided students for Ph.D programme. 9 students have completed Ph.D under my guidance. 

Active researcher published several papers in scientific journal of repute 

Presented papers at several national and international conferences, also invited speaker at conferences. Research area include  

1. Inhibition of bacterial quorum sensing -Focusing identification of few quorum-quenching molecules which can be developed as promising molecules to overcome antibiotic resistance,  
2. Enzymology –Purification of enzymes,  
3. Synthesis and Application of Nanoparticles – Synthesized selenium nanoparticles as promising approach for management of acute inflammatory arthritis.  
4. Biofuels from microalgae 

Had consultancy project with ‘Pharmaceutical companies and projects from Government agencies 

As administrator active member of university committees and as a committee member contributed in promotion for advancement of subject of microbiology and various other administrating activities. 

As a principal of the college, successfully implemented NEP-2020 with innovative subjects, introduction of new programmes, new courses. Introduced multiple practical based courses, strengthened placements. Introduced life skill courses. Organised various faculty development programmes for capacity building.
