He was former Dean (Academics),  Professor of OB&HR, Head of L&T Centre for HRD, and Head of Organizational Behaviour Area at XLRI Jamshedpur; Professor, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai; Visiting Professor – SP Jain School of Global Management – Dubai and Singapore; Visiting Professor of OB at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar;  

In the corporate sector, worked as Country HR Head, DHL Worldwide Express;  Associate VP (HR), Ion Exchange India Limited;  Chief HR Officer, Epicenter Technologies; Director (Organizational Effectiveness), Pfizer Limited; and Vice-President (Organization Development), Wockhardt Limited.   

Dr. D’Souza was a founding member of the National HRD Network in India and the first full-time Executive Director of the Academy of HRD, Ahmedabad. He has published some books and a number of journal articles in the areas of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Development. He teaches various courses in the area of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources as a Visiting Professor in various institutes, undertakes training in the areas of leadership development, HRD, OD and related subjects, and consults with business and non-business organizations.
