Girish Dixit is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Executive Vice President at Kotak Securities, a position he has held since August 2023. With over two decades of experience in Cybersecurity & Information Security, particularly within the banking and financial sectors, Dixit has a robust background in designing and managing IT security architectures. 

Prior to joining Kotak Securities, he served as the Head of Cyber Defense at HDFC Bank, where he was instrumental in shaping the bank’s cybersecurity strategies. His career also includes significant roles such as Executive Director & CISO for the India branch at JPMorgan Chase & Co., & Senior Vice President as the India Business Information Security Officer at Citibank India.  

His expertise spans systems, networking, Security, audit, and compliance. He has worked across various industries, including IT & ITES, banking, and manufacturing, demonstrating proficiency in implementing robust information security measures. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication from the University of Mumbai.
