He holds M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and post graduate degree in Financial Management. He joined ECGC in 1995 and has served the organization in various capacities in its different sectors.  During his service in ECGC, he has worked in different departments in Head Office, Regional  and Branch offices. He headed ECGC Branch offices at Bhubaneswar and Delhi and also Policy claims department at Head office. He held the position of Regional Manager, Eastern Region during June 2016 to June 2019 and the position of General Manager since June 2019 to October 2023 in the corporate office of ECGC and was looking after the key areas of operations such as Policy Planning, Project Exports & NEIA, Buyer & Policy Underwriting, Policy Claims, Factoring and Recoveries, International Working Group etc.  He has been the Chief Underwriting Officer of Short Term Export-Policy and Project Exports portfolio. Currently, he is holding position of Executive Director since November 2023 looking after the operations of the company. He participated as a panel speaker, in several national and international seminars and also represented organization in the various trade and industry forums.
