Sasikumar Kallanai is the Co-Founder of TenderCuts, one of India’s most disruptive and trusted brands in the fresh meat and seafood category. With over 20 of experience in HR, retail, operations, and business development in retail and consumer ecosystem, Sasikumar has played a pivotal role in transforming the unorganised fresh meat space into a modern, tech-enabled consumer category.

In 2015, he co-founded TenderCuts with a mission to bring hygiene, traceability, and trust to the meat supply chain. Under his leadership, the brand scaled across cities like Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad—pioneering an omnichannel model, investing in cold-chain infrastructure, and earning deep consumer loyalty.

Following the company’s restructuring in 2023, Sasikumar has been driving TenderCuts through a transformational turnaround—reviving the business from near closure to breakeven with a renewed focus on profitability, operational excellence, and long-term brand relevance.

Known for his resilience and turnaround capability, ability to build from the ground up he has previously worked with franchisee operators for leading brands such as adidas, PUMA, Titan, Levi’s, and MedPlus.

In 2025, he was honoured with the “Innovative & Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year – South India” at The Great Indian Entrepreneurship & Startup Awards.
