Additionally, this event will serve as a dynamic platform for exchanging knowledge, fostering collaboration across different sectors, and leveraging expert analysis to expedite progress. Through proactive cooperation, we aim to deliver scalable outcomes and drive impactful results.
Traditionally the health sector is classified into two categories- public and private, where the public sector is known for its affordability and mass reach while the private sector focuses on personalised care and advanced treatments, but in the recent years there has also been the emergence of a joint effort by the Public and private sector to provide the best of both worlds in ensuring preventive and patient care, a fact greatly displayed during the pandemic.
Industry Outlook
As of 2024, India’s healthcare sector stands as one of the country’s largest employers, providing jobs to approximately 7.5 million people. This sector is set to experience significant growth, driven by an increasing demand for healthcare professionals both within India and globally.
By 2030, the need for skilled healthcare workers is expected to double, owing to a notable shortage in the workforce. Currently, India faces a critical imbalance with only 1.7 nurses per 1,000 people, and a doctor-to-patient ratio of 1:1,500 nationwide, which is far below global standards.

This initiative aims to enhance the availability and accessibility of healthcare services across the country, providing much-needed resources to support the sector’s expansion and capacity building.
