Chaitanya Sarawate is a business leader with more than two decades of corporate and healthcare experience across strategy, consulting, marketing, and product management. A pioneer in his domain, instrumental in leading some of the most innovative technology businesses for companies across USA, presently, he is the Managing Director of Wipro GE Healthcare, a MedTech products & services joint venture between Wipro and GE Healthcare South Asia.<\/p>\n
Chaitanya is also the President & CEO of GE HealthCare South Asia, leading strategic growth
\nobjectives, commercial outcomes and the localization and technology strategy for Wipro GE
\nHealthcare in India and South Asia. He is responsible for strengthening company\u2019s market
\nleadership position in South Asia by driving localization strategy and delivering clinical excellence,
\naccess, and precision care.<\/p>\n
Prior to this, Chaitanya was the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer for AKA (ASEAN, Korea, Australia
\n& New Zealand), where he spearheaded organizational transformation that drove enhanced
\nvisibility, increased empowerment, and gains through segment specialization. He headed the
\nformation team and was a member of the workstream for Intercontinental Commercial Excellence.
\nChaitanya started working with GE in 2010.<\/p>\n
He holds a Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Mumbai, a Masters in
\nPharmacy from the University of Illinois Chicago, and is an MBA from NYU Leonard Stern School of
