Dr Madhavi is a Pediatrician working relentlessly towards busting myths, in context with raising children and parenting. She did her graduation and specialisation from Delhi University. She bagged a gold medal in 2016 for her work in Paediatrics department in Maulana Azad Medical College. To this, she further added a Diploma in allergy and asthma from Christian medical College Vellore

During her graduation, being from a middle-class family, she closely saw many age old rituals and traditional practices of the Indian families about raising children, some of which she found illogical or downright harmful to the babies or mothers. She wanted to help by sharing her learnings and started making short videos on social media under the name @bacchonkidoctor, her way of connecting traditions with science, a very relevant and effective decoction of knowledge. Her knack of weaving common concerns into her storytelling and her highlighting and resolving the visible difference of opinions between mothers and grandmothers about raising kids resonated with her audience. And in just one year she has more than a million followers on Instagram ! Her workshops prepare new moms for their role as a stressfree caregiver to their little ones. She is happy doing her bit daily to create a healthy and joyous growing space for innocent precious little babies, spearheaded with science !
