Ashok is an experienced engineering and technology leader with over 34 years of expertise in the energy sector. He is known for his ability to build successful technology development organizations from scratch, drive digital transformation, and foster a culture of innovation. 

Currently, Ashok leads the Energy Technology Center for Baker Hughes in Bangalore, where he oversees the development of cutting-edge energy technologies. In this role, he has built independent engineering, technology, and research teams that play a crucial part in shaping the company’s technological roadmap. 

Prior to joining Baker Hughes in 2007, Ashok gained extensive experience in power plant engineering and system engineering, spanning 17 years. His comprehensive expertise covers the entire technology lifecycle, including project management, product and system engineering, installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance. 

Ashok’s exceptional technical capabilities and strong leadership skills have enabled him to drive transformative changes in the energy industry. His ability to navigate the evolving energy landscape and deliver innovative solutions has made him a highly respected technology leader.
