Satish Satyarthi is Chief Innovation & R&D Officer at Eureka Forbes Ltd, driving innovation as a leading pillar of the business transformation journey of the organization. As part of this transformation journey, he has led development and launch of many ‘first in the world’ innovations like ZeroBend Upright Vacuum Cleaner relieving users from discomfort of bending their body while cleaning, SlimTech and Glass series of water purifiers that accentuates the interior of the kitchen as well as has next generation instant UV LED technology and Air Purifier with 360 deg air flow technology.

Before Eureka Forbes, he was the President & Head of R&D at Bajaj Electricals Ltd where he transformed the R&D center’s capability to deliver high impact innovations including a new upscale brand from strategic conceptualization to commercialization. There, he also launched “Open Innovation” planform which is first of kind in India by any Indian industry. Prior to this he was Director, Innovation & Development at Philips India Ltd leading innovation initiatives for Personal Health and Consumer lifestyle business, launching many locally relevant break through innovations in the country. Before Philips he was Global Head of R&D for Buhler’s two business verticals across Europe, China and South Asia where next generation sustainable products and solutions were developed and launched under his leadership. Prior to this he worked in Applied Materials, world leader In Semiconductor Equipment, where he built and led team to work on Robotics Innovations.

After graduating from IIT Kharagpur, he started his career in automotive with Tata Cummins Ltd.

He has been panelist, moderator and jury member in multiple industrial forums and served in National Innovation Committee of FICCI for 7 year promoting Industry Academia collaboration.

On personal capacity he has been associated with startup world as angel investor and mentor. He was also SPOC for startup India initiatives during COVID at Bajaj Electricals.
