Major Vandana Sharma represents the face of today’s multi-talented Indian woman who pursued excellence in every field, from the country’s defence to the corporate sector over a rich and diverse career over 28 years. 

Major Sharma was posted in Leh and played a core role as a logistics officer in Kargil War in 1999. Her military contribution to the Kargil War of 1999 have been recorded and commended in the Military History of Army Ordnance Corps. Vandana was the Linkedin Top Voice, India for 2019. She has been awarded as a women icon Asia Pacific by BERG Singapore in 2017. She was also felicitated as  Woman of Substance by SHL Diagnostics in 2017 . 

After serving Indian army for a decade, Major Sharma has contributed to leadership roles across diverse corporate sectors for organizations like Wipro, GMR, Myntra. She coaches young women and men to become better leaders and is an adjunct professor at the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur.  

She is an experienced TedX speaker who has spoken about “Follow Your Calling“, “ Risk To Rise”, Work on an Epitaph, not on a Resume”. and ‘Rising through Resilience“.
