Minal Deshpande is a dynamic leader with deep expertise in artificial intelligence, engineering, and enterprise technology. She currently leads Deloitte USI’s AI & Engineering Practice, a powerhouse of 25,000 professionals delivering services in AI, data engineering, architecture, systems engineering, infrastructure, and industry solutions. Under her leadership, the practice supports Fortune 100 clients through a global delivery model.

Previously, she spearheaded Deloitte’s Application Modernization & Innovation in India and Business Process Engineering offerings across the US and USI.

Her leadership journey includes serving as TME Leader for USI Consulting, establishing the Travel and Hospitality practice, and pioneering the Center of Excellence (CoE) model—notably founding the India-based Business and Testing CoE. She also led the Service Delivery & Optimization market offering, ensuring consistent practice growth and high utilization across industries.

Since joining Deloitte in 2002, Minal has held multiple leadership roles spanning sales, capability development and delivery excellence with P&L responsibility. She has been instrumental in strategic sales pursuits and has led marquee transformational projects for clients across Industry sectors.

As Managing Director of Deloitte US’s Mumbai office, Minal has driven growth, established new business offerings, and strengthened client engagement. She is widely recognized for leading innovations, implementing employee engagement initiatives and bold office management strategies, earning a reputation as a results-oriented leader.

Minal has a proven track record of guiding clients from proposal to delivery, consistently focusing on value creation and ROI improvement. She is regarded as a trusted subject matter expert by Fortune 500 clients and has played key leadership roles in transformative projects.

Beyond client work, Minal is active in the global technology community, representing Deloitte at international conferences and the Women in Leadership Forum. She served on advisory boards including ETI – QAI Worldwide’s Testing Institute and the Project Management Institute for BFSI conferences. Her thought leadership—through publications and interviews on topics like the Future of Testing in India—has garnered significant industry attention.

Advocacy and Contributions to Inclusion & Belonging:
Minal is a passionate advocate for women in technology and leadership. She served as the Women’s Initiative (WIN) Lead and helped launch the initiative at USI in 2006. She has contributed to national Deloitte programs such as WISMAC and ABC for T, and champions the Specialist Career Model within Deloitte USI.
