Mr. Mohindroo is a well-known personality in the domain of Mobile and Electronics manufacturing in India. His relentless efforts and a sharp & focussed approach have made India a second largest mobile manufacturing nation. He is double gold medallist at Punjab University and has subsequently completed his MBA from the esteemed Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.  

In a career spanning over four decades, he has straddled multiple industries with a high focus on telecom, digital and electronics for the last 2 decades.  

With a vision to bring mobile and electronics manufacturing in India, Mr. Mohindroo started ICEA, an apex industry body representing the electronics value chain, aspires to make India a global hub for electronics manufacturing and exports.  

As Chairman of the Fast Track Task Force (FTTF), which was established by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) in December 2014. He is widely credited with the mobile phone and supply chain revolution and growth of over 1800% therein. His vision to build India as an Electronics manufacturing hub by bringing Global Value Chains (GVCs) along with Lead firms to India and simultaneously building National Indian Champions for Long-term economic sustainability is well accepted and recognized by the Government of India.  

Mr. Mohindroo is the Co-founder and Hon. Secretary of the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC), Founder, Honorary Secretary of the Mobile and Electronic Devices Export Promotion Council (MEDEPC), a Member of the Governing Council of the Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI) and a Member of the Board of Trade (BOT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
