Tarun Anand is the Founder & Chancellor of Universal Ai University, India’s first AI University and established Universal Business School, India’s 1st Green B-School in Mumbai. Prior to this he was the youngest Managing Director, Thomson Reuters, South Asia. He served as Global Head of Treasury leading a $2 billion business across 136 countries and served on the Global Innovation & Venture Board at Reuters. Tarun co-founded and served as Global Head of Strategy and Head of Asia-Pacific at FXMarketSpace (Reuters & CME JV) and invented a  revolutionary FX settlement solution that has won several international Innovation Awards. He has worked in London, New York, Hong Kong and in 55+ countries across 6 continents. Tarun has over 28 years of experience in financial services, banking, exchanges and education, including working for Standard Chartered and HSBC. 

He is a TEDx speaker and was awarded Education Evangelist of India by Great Place to Study. Tarun was featured as ‘The Pioneer of Change’ by Inspiring India 2023 and received the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award in 2023 by his alma mater SPJIMR where he pursued his MBA. He pursued Exec. Education at Michigan Business School (USA), Tuck Business School (USA) and IE Business School (Spain).
