Roma Sachdev is the EVP and Chief Marketing & Communication Officer at Capgemini in India. In her current role, she is responsible for strengthening the Brand amongst customers, employees and industry at large.

Roma is a seasoned M&C professional who comes with over three decades of experience in advertising, marketing, and communications, including two decades in IT services. She is a strategic organizational leader and has been an enabler and influencer in her area of work. She has also overlooked partnerships with businesses to support transformation with skills in Change management, Marketing Communication, Crisis Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Customer Relationship Management.

Prior to joining Capgemini, Roma was Vice President of Marketing at Publicis Sapient in India, leading marketing, public relations and digital strategies. Roma introduced agile methodologies in marketing at Publicis Sapient in India and enhanced brand visibility, also achieving recognition as a Great Place to Work. Roma also led communication at IBM Daksh, earning top DEI rankings. Additionally, she established Xansa’s brand in India and led CSR initiatives in education.

Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, Roma has chaired POSH initiatives for over four years at Publicis Sapient for North and West locations. Roma continues to coach and mentor both professionally and personally.

Roma holds a MBA in International Management and Marketing from Northwestern University, Boston, USA.
