Sanjeeb Patel is the Vice President of Engineering and Site Leader at Serko, India. With over two decades of
experience, he has built and led high-performing global teams across the USA, UK, Canada, China, Bulgaria,
and India. His expertise spans industries including healthcare, finance, e-commerce, and travel technology.

At Walmart, Sanjeeb played a key role in scaling business verticals such as Photo, Pharmacy, Tires, and Optical
by transitioning ownership to Bengaluru while modernizing the software stack. He also led the expansion and
modernization of Walmart UK-ASDA’s Grocery and George Engineering teams. At Walmart Canada, he built an
engineering team in India from the ground up and successfully restructured global teams for seamless
collaboration, resulting in significant cost savings.

Before joining Serko, Sanjeeb led global engineering teams for GetThere, Sabre Corporation’s Corporate
Booking platform. Earlier in his career, he worked with large organizations such as Tata Infotech, Wipro
Technologies, Applied Biosystems, Franklin Templeton, Shutterfly and Walmart in the Silicon Valley.
Beyond his professional career, Sanjeeb is deeply committed to community service, particularly in education.
For over 15 years, he has actively contributed to initiatives aimed at improving rural education in India,
reflecting his dedication to social impact alongside his leadership in technology.
