Prof. M.Venkateshwarlu

Currently serving as a Professor of Finance at the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai, he has completed over 50 industrial consulting assignments across diverse domains such as cost estimation, cost management, productivity management, benchmarking, and profitability-linked incentive schemes for public and private sector organisations. He has led numerous company-based training programs for executives in the financial services and manufacturing sectors in India and internationally. Additionally, he has facilitated over 40 Open Training Programs, including Management Development Programs in areas such as Cost Management, Productivity Management, Benchmarking, Financial Analysis, Financial Risk Analytics, and more. 

From 2007 to 2012, he conceptualised, designed, and implemented the innovative Crisil Certified Analyst Program (CCAP) at NITIE, which integrated work experience with academic study. He has received notable awards, including the Best Professor in Financial Management Award in 2009 and recognition for the CCAP initiative in the innovation category by McGraw-Hill, USA, in 2008. 

His recent work includes the publication of the book “Dynamics of Financial Stress and Economic Performance: Insights and Analysis from World Economy” by Emerald, United Kingdom, in 2018. He has also authored more than 25 research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
