Lt Col Namrata Rathore, VSM, boasts an exemplary career spanning about 17 years of service in the Indian Army and is currently posted in the challenging terrain of the North East. Her career has been marked by exceptional achievements and recognition, including the prestigious Vishisht Seva Medal in 2013, the esteemed Yashaswani Award by then Defence Minister Smt Nirmala Sitaraman ( 2018), and the Women Jewel of India Award by the Ministry of Women and Child Development in 2021.

Lt Col Rathore has also distinguished herself by successfully summiting Mount Everest in 2012 as part of the Indian Army Women Everest Expedition.  She has also participated in significant events like the Laser Radial Asian Games trials and Nationals in 2014.

Throughout her illustrious career, Lt Col Namrata Rathore has
