Woolley&#8217;s current projects focus on collective intelligence in teams and human-computer collaboration, including the use of AI to enhance CI with current projects funded by DARPA and the National Science Foundation building on past projects sponsored by the Army Research Office, the Office of Naval Research, the Air Force Research Lab, as well as corporate partners.\u202f Professor Woolley served as Associate Dean of Research for the Tepper School from 2022-2024 and as Chair of the CMU Institutional Review Board from 2019-2022.
