Participation is open to eligible individuals, teams and organizations contributing to the data, analytics, business intelligence and AI ecosystem in India. Once registered, you will receive access to the official nomination form and category details.

Choose the award category that best reflects your achievement in the DataCon ecosystem.
Nominations may be submitted across multiple categories, provided each entry clearly aligns with the relevant criteria and demonstrates measurable impact in data, analytics, governance, innovation or business transformation.

 

To ensure the integrity of the evaluation process, each initiative must be entered only once in the category that most accurately represents its scope and impact. Duplicate nominations of the same initiative across multiple categories will not be accepted and will be disqualified across all such entries.

Fill out the official nomination form with all required details. Ensure your submission clearly highlights the data initiative, business impact, innovation, execution quality, and measurable outcomes relevant to the chosen category. Entries should demonstrate how the initiative has enabled trusted decision-making, real-time action, operational efficiency or enterprise value.

Individual Awards
Attach supporting materials that help the jury assess the scale and significance of the nomination. Recommended materials may include case studies, impact metrics, dashboards, product demos, adoption proof, media coverage, research publications, testimonials or campaign outcomes. Strong supporting evidence will help show how the work has contributed to the broader data, analytics and AI landscape.

After the nomination deadline, all submissions will be reviewed by an esteemed jury comprising industry leaders, business heads, technology experts, and domain specialists from the data and analytics ecosystem. Shortlisted finalists will be notified, and the winners will be announced and felicitated at the 7th Edition ET Edge DataCon Summit & Awards.

The 7th Edition ET Edge DataCon Summit & Awards. will celebrate organizations and leaders who are turning data into trusted, real-time decisions and setting benchmarks in analytics, data management, BI and AI-led transformation. The awards are intended to recognize not only innovation, but also the practical business outcomes created through strong data strategy, governance and execution.

Individual Criteria

The Individual Awards categories are open exclusively to professionals based in India, including leaders from enterprises, public sector institutions, academia, research laboratories, and the startup ecosystem who are driving meaningful impact through data, analytics, business intelligence and artificial intelligence. The standards mentioned offer a holistic approach to evaluating individual leadership, innovation, and contribution to advancing data adoption and capabilities across industries and sectors. The submissions should reflect the initiatives, achievements, innovations, or leadership decisions undertaken during the period from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026.

The following parameters will be used to evaluate the entries:

Strategy – 25%

Evaluation of the strategic approach implemented, focusing on clarity, alignment with organizational goals, and overall coherence

Element of innovation – 25%

Recognition of innovative practices or solutions that effectively harness data to drive business goals and impactful outcomes

Effective and efficient execution – 25%

Assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency in executing transformative strategies and data initiatives, ensuring significant impact on KPIs

Tangible outcomes achieved – 25%

Review of measurable outcomes, including improvements in performance, cost efficiency, and other key metrics

Organisation Criteria

The Awards Participation is open exclusively to India-based organizations. The standards mentioned offer a holistic approach to evaluating the data transformation journey and highlighting exemplary achievements in the data and AI landscape. The submissions are for the work/initiatives/decisions undertaken for the period 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026.

Evaluation Methodology

The 7th Edition ET Edge DataCon Summit & Awards evaluation process is a comprehensive
and transparent approach to identifying and recognizing the most deserving companies and
individuals. It follows a structured multi-step process.

Nomination

Businesses and individuals can be nominated for the awards by themselves or through their agencies. The process is open to organizations and professionals from across PAN India through a nomination form.

Businesses and individuals will be evaluated across key parameters such as:

Screening

All nominations will be screened based on the eligibility criteria, which will include the above evaluation parameters.
Scoring Methods

Each award category includes 4 parameters scored individually with assigned weightages to calculate an indexed score.
Shortlisting

The top companies and individuals in each category are shortlisted based on the indexed scores.
Jury Meet

The shortlisted results are reviewed by a distinguished jury, and winners are decided through detailed discussion and unanimous concurrence among jury members.
Award Ceremony

Winners will be honoured during the award ceremony at the 7th Edition ET Edge DataCon Summit & Awards. Winners will receive a trophy and a certificate of recognition for their outstanding performance in their respective category. The announcement of the winners will also be publicized through various media channels to promote the winning businesses and individuals.
