LtGen cc Muralidharan, AVSM is an alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune and was commissioned into the Armed Forces Medical Services on 25 Dec 1987. He pursued his MD in Radiology from AFMC, Pune in 1994 and subsequently earned his DNB in Radiology from the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in 1996. The Gen Offr has several national and internationalpublications in his name and is a recognizedpost graduate teacher in Radiology.

In the initial years of service, the General Officer served asRMO with 192 Fd Over his distinguished career spanning 38 years, he has held and stao appointments,including:-

• Commanding Officer, 187 MH
• Brig Med, HQ DB Area
• Comdt, MH Chennai
• Brig Med, HQ 15 Corps
• Addl DGMS (Army), O/o DGMS (Army)
• Comdt, Base Hosp, Delhi Cantt
• MG Med, HQ South Western Command

He has also served as Spl in Command Hosp (SC) Pune, MH Yol, MHBareiIIy, SFF Hosp, MH Golconda, Level-III Hosp CONGO and as Sr Adv at MH Jalandhar and Command Hosp (SC) Pune.

The Gen Offr assumed the prestigious appt of Director General Medical Services (Army) on 01 Oct Prior to this, he sewed as MG Med, HQ South Western Command from 11 Mar 2024 to 30 Sep 2025.
