With four decades of clinical experience, research, and leadership, Dr. Mithal has played a transformative role in shaping endocrinology in India.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">He currently serves as Group\u00a0Chairman\u00a0and Head of Endocrinology &amp; Diabetes at Max\u00a0Healthcare,\u00a0 a\u00a0group of 24 Hospitals.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Over the years, he has held leadership positions at\u00a0Medanta\u00a0, Apollo Hospitals, and in academic institutions like SGPGI Lucknow, contributing significantly to medical education, policy, and public health.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">He is the recipient of\u00a0numerous\u00a0awards &amp;\u00a0honours, which include\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Padma Bhushan&amp;\u00a0Dr.B. C.
