Anil Kumar SG<\/span><\/b>\u00a0is the Founder of\u00a0<\/span>Samunnati<\/span><\/b>, India\u2019s leading\u00a0agri-enterprise, pioneering an integrated value-chain approach to unlock the full potential of Indian agriculture. At the heart of\u00a0Samunnati\u2019s\u00a0mission is a deep belief in making markets work for smallholder farmers. With this as the core focus, under Anil\u2019s leadership, the organisation has evolved into an open\u00a0agri-network that connects Farmer Collectives and Agri Enterprises across the country through a unique blend of finance, market linkage, advisory, and climate-smart solutions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anil brings\u00a0nearly three\u00a0decades of experience across banking, rural finance, and\u00a0agri\u00a0value chains, blending deep sectoral\u00a0expertise\u00a0with entrepreneurial execution. His approach focuses on ecosystem-wide enablement, creating shared value for all stakeholders through collaboration, technology, and contextual innovation. He works closely with national policy bodies, agriculture and startup ecosystems, and sectoral alliances to shape the agenda for sustainable, market-led development in agriculture.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He serves as the Chair of\u00a0<\/span>FICCI\u2019s Taskforce on Agri Finance<\/span><\/b>\u00a0and is actively engaged with the\u00a0<\/span>Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers\u2019 Welfare<\/span><\/b>. He also contributes to several national and sectoral advisory bodies, including the\u00a0<\/span>CII National Council for Agriculture<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0<\/span>TiE\u00a0Chennai Governing Council<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0<\/span>Social Stock Exchange Advisory Committee<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0<\/span>IMI-K Neev Innovation Foundation Advisory Council<\/span><\/b>, and the\u00a0<\/span>CII Tamil Nadu State Council (2025\u201326)<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He plays an active role in shaping the\u00a0agri\u00a0and entrepreneurship ecosystem through sustained engagement with universities, startup and entrepreneur incubation cells, and sectoral forums.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His roles include being a\u00a0<\/span>Member of the Governing Council at IIT Madras Research Park<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0<\/span>Domain Expert Mentor at the IIT-Madras Incubation Cell<\/span><\/b>, and a\u00a0<\/span>Member of the Advisory Board of\u00a0Welingkar\u00a0Institute\u2019s Rural Management Program<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
