Praveen Soma is working with CII as Principal Counsellor. He is a Sustainable Architect with two decades of experience in sustainable design, green building certifications, net-zero strategies, LCA and Green Procurement.  

He has co-developed key green rating systems like Green Homes, Green Interiors, and Net Zero Waste, transforming over 3,500+ projects (~4 billion sq. ft) towards sustainability. He is responsible for Green Products & Services Council with 11,200 ecolabels products as on date. 

He is part of the World GBC’s Advancing Net Zero Project since 2016 and Co-Chair of the Building Materials Chapter for BEE’s ECSBC 2023.  

He has represented CII, IGBC, GreenPro at National & International Conferences.
