Chef Matteo Fracalossi is a skilled chef with over three decades of experience in the art of gastronomy. His journey began in Italy in 1998, where his passion for food was nurtured and refined through meticulous training. A significant milestone in his career was his five-year tenure at Villa Crespi, working alongside the renowned Chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, where his contributions helped the restaurant earn its second Michelin star, cementing his reputation for culinary excellence.

His expertise spans continents, with key roles in Russia, Qatar, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Saipan. These global experiences have enriched his culinary repertoire, allowing him to master diverse cuisines while gaining a profound understanding of international culinary traditions.

In 2016, Chef Fracalossi joined the Hyatt family, where his innovative approach and unwavering dedication to excellence earned him widespread recognition. Known for blending tradition with creativity, his culinary philosophy celebrates the harmony of flavours, artistry, and precision, captivating food enthusiasts across the globe.

He joined Andaz Delhi as Executive Chef in November 2023, bringing transformative energy to the hotel’s culinary landscape. Under his leadership, the dining experiences have been elevated with innovative menus and a renewed focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
