Ms Komal Shah Bhukhanwala is Director R&D and IP, SML Limited. At SML, Ms Bhukhanwala has been overseeing the research, development, intellectual property and introduction of new crop solutions in crop protection, crop nutrition, biologicals and biostimulants, novel chemical entities, in India and internationally.\u00a0 Under her leadership, SML has developed a global patent portfolio of over 500 patent applications. SML has a pan-India and global presence in over 80 countries. She has been working with various stakeholders to address agricultural productivity and quality through balanced nutrition management in agriculture by providing sustainable agricultural practices.
