Mr. Vohra is CEO of Jindal Cement with more than 26 years of professional experience. Jindal Cement
is expanding its production capacity significantly, from current 2.5 MTPA to 7.0 MTPA at an investment
cost of Rs 2,160 cr. This expansion spread across Angul (Odisha) and Raigarh (Chattisgarh) would
strengthen the group’s presence in the cement industry and provide sustainable construction
materials to support growing infrastructure needs in Eastern India. Mr. Vohra was formerly with the
Adani Group as Business & Strategy Head for Cement. At Adani group, he spearheaded the due
diligence & acquisition of Ambuja Cements & ACC – the largest-ever M&A (approx. 6.5 Bn $) in the
building material segment globally. He started his career in Indian Engg. Services & on the academic
front has a B.E. in civil engineering from Chandigarh’s Punjab Engineering College & Post Graduate
diploma in Management from IIM (Ahmedabad).
