She was the winner of the \u2018Young Clinician Award\u2019 from the American Heart Association and the \u2018Best Teacher Award\u2019 at Yale University. She is currently the President of the Pediatric Cardiac Society of India. She has over 200 academic presentations and publications to her credit, runs an e-teaching program for PGs in Pediatric Cardiology and is an inspirational speaker having given over 200 lectures, including several TEDx talks.\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:278}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">She is also active in the social arena in India where she runs 2 trust funds.\u202f People4people has put up over 600 playgrounds in government schools and the Telrad Foundation provides telemedicine services to poor areas in India that do not have access to high quality medical care.\u202f\u202fShe sits on the Board of HDFC bank and GSK pharma in India and chairs their Corporate social responsibility Committees.
