Dr Syed Asif Hussain, MD is a qualified clinician and a seasoned professional with over 19 years of experience in Life & Health Insurance Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance management. Starting his career as a Clinician, he has worked in Health Insurance claims management and in Life Insurance risk functions being involved in cross functional teams in formulating and executing prudent underwriting and claims strategies. In his current role as a Chief Underwriting Officer & Head of Technical Operations at Tata AIA Life, India he is focused on expanding the protection value chain through innovative UW solutions coupled with prudent risk management practices.

Dr Asif is a Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt and holds several coveted Fellowships viz., Fellow, Academy of Life Underwriting; Fellow, Life Office Management Association (LOMA) and Fellow, International Claims Association. At present, he also is an Executive Committee Member of Association of Insurance UWs, India.
