A charismatic leader with an experience spanning over two and a half decades, he has mentored several cross-functional teams to enhance the organizational value and growth during his tenure so far. Under Sumit\u2019s leadership, Edelweiss Life has earned several industry recognitions, bolstered by the key mantras of customer centricity and innovation. Driven by his consistent belief in delivering value for every aspect of the business, the company has achieved rapid business growth, introduced exciting products and service innovations, and truly delivered on its promise of making #ZindagiUnlimited for its customers and employees. Before taking charge as the MD &amp; CEO, Sumit served as the company\u2019s Chief Distribution Officer for a brief period. Previously, as a founder team member at Max Life, Sumit played a key role with the team that created one of India\u2019s largest life insurance companies and handled multiple roles in distribution and strategy, including running and strengthening India\u2019s largest non-captive, commercial bancassurance partnership.
