Krupalu Mehta is the Founder and CEO of Parallax Labs, a company building mission-critical simulation and spatial computing systems for defence, aerospace, and industrial applications. A two-time recipient of the Indian Ministry of Defence’s iDEX innovation award, he is currently working with the Armed Forces on deploying large-scale mission rehearsal and training systems. 

Over the past nine years, Parallax has also contributed to India’s space program through collaborations with ISRO, most recently focusing on human factors and training systems for the Gaganyaan mission with the Human Space Flight Centre. Their work spans the application of immersive technologies for decision-making, training, and operations in high-stakes environments. 

Parallax has been actively building industry-academia partnerships in spatial computing since 2015, establishing one of India’s earliest VR/AR labs and collaborating with institutions such as IIT Bombay, Rashtriya Raksha University, SRM University, and Mumbai University on research and development in XR and advanced simulation technologies.
