Vishnu Ramakrishnan is the Senior Vice President of Advanced Air Mobility Strategy at The ePlane Company, where he leads strategic initiatives across ecosystem development, digital infrastructure, and policy engagement for next-generation electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.  

An early member of ePlane, Vishnu has played a central role in shaping the company’s growth from a research-driven initiative into one of India’s leading advanced air mobility platforms. Over the years, he has led multiple internal functions spanning strategy, partnerships, commercialization, and ecosystem development. He recently spearheaded the company’s latest funding round and currently drives the build-out of digital infrastructure frameworks essential for scalable and safe eVTOL operations.  

Vishnu works closely with national and global policy bodies to help shape regulatory pathways for advanced air mobility. He played a key role in securing The ePlane Company’s recognition as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2025 and continues to collaborate with the WEF on shaping future mobility and aviation policy frameworks. He represents the company across task forces organized by CII and FICCI and actively engages with regulators and industry stakeholders on certification, infrastructure, and commercialization models.  

He also led the strategic partnership with NVIDIA to advance safety-critical onboard computing and digital twin capabilities for aerospace systems, positioning ePlane at the convergence of AI, simulation, and aviation certification standards.  

Prior to ePlane, Vishnu was with Quantiphi, where he established the company’s Innovation Center in Bengaluru. Before that, at Mu Sigma Labs, he was part of the technical leadership within the Innovation and Development Center, leading teams in developing reusable advanced analytics modules for enterprise-scale deployment.  

In his early years out of college, Vishnu founded a social technology startup focused on accessibility solutions. The venture developed refreshable Braille learning boards designed to support visually impaired children in classroom environments — an experience that shaped his long-term interest in building technology with systemic and societal impact.  

Vishnu’s work today sits at the intersection of deep technology, infrastructure strategy, capital formation, and public policy  with a focus on enabling scalable, reliable, and accessible air mobility.
