The 2nd Edition of ET Edge Onco Frontiers Summit 2025
Overview
Cancer remains one of the most pressing public health challenges globally and in India. According to estimates, new cancer cases among males in India are projected to rise from 0.589 million in 2011 to 0.934 million by 2026, while cases among females are expected to increase from 0.603 million to 0.935 million. Alarmingly, one in five people worldwide will develop cancer in their lifetime.
Despite rapid advancements in oncology—including innovations in diagnostics, targeted therapies, and supportive care—barriers to accessibility, affordability, and equitable treatment continue to pose significant challenges in India. However, at least 40% of all cancer cases could be prevented with effective primary prevention measures, and mortality rates can be significantly reduced through early detection and timely intervention.

The 2nd Edition of ET Edge Onco Frontiers Summit 2025 aims to bring together leading oncologists, healthcare experts, pharmaceutical innovators, policymakers, and patient advocacy groups to address these pressing concerns. This summit will serve as a platform to discuss the latest breakthroughs, examine critical challenges, and explore collaborative solutions to advance oncology care in India.
