Dr Anil Kamath is a well experienced senior surgical oncologist in Bangalore. After completing his under graduation from Mysore medical college and postgraduation from St Johns, Dr Kamath stood first in the All India Superspeciality entrance test in 2003. He has done his oncology training from Tata memorial Centre in Mumbai. He has done a fellowship on peritoneal surface malignancies at the Washington cancer center
Dr Kamath has many papers and publications to his credit. He was awarded the prestigious UICC fellowship and also was recently the recipient of the “Rising Star Award” for oncology category by the Times of India. He has been a faculty and speaker at many national and international conferences
Dr Kamath has vast experience of more than 20 years in oncology. He has treated a great number of national and international patients with excellent outcomes. His areas of expertise are robotic surgery for various gastrointestinal and gynecologic malignancies , cytoreductive surgeries with HIPEC and breast oncology. He is the principal coordinator for the DNB surgical oncology program at Apollo Hospital Bengaluru
