We are pleased to inform you that the All India Association of Industries (AIAI) was established in 1956 under the dynamic leadership of Late Shri Babubhai M. Chinai (M.P). It is today the leading association of industries serving the trade and industry.\u00a0<\/p>

AIAI membership spans across a wide spectrum of industries with a strength of over 1400 direct membership and over 60 affiliated regional Chambers and trade bodies with an indirect membership of over 2, 00,000.<\/p>

Over 70% of the membership represent the SME Sector. As SMEs are a vital component of every economy, AIAI endeavors to support and strengthen the SMEs by helping them to integrate in the global supply chains. AIAI assists SMEs to accelerate their business network globally by identifying reliable business partners through our network in over 50 countries.<\/p>

Our activities are directed towards facilitating and fostering SME growth through seminars, workshops, trade fairs, and business meetings, trade delegations from overseas and also mounting delegations from amongst our members to other countries. AIAI provides information on domestic and international trade, investment, technology and innovation.<\/p>

Look forward to work closely for promotion of bilateral trade between our two countries\u00a0AIAI has signed over 305 agreements for co-operation with International Trade\u00a0<\/span>Promotion bodies and Chambers of Commerce across the world. This highlights our\u00a0<\/span>mission to promote international trade, enhance exchange of trade related information\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>and trade delegations, foster joint ventures and technological alliances and thus\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>contribute towards the process of globalization.<\/span><\/p>

AIAI is affiliated to UNIDO and UNCTAD and has been authorized by the Ministry\u00a0\u00a0of Commerce to issue Certificate of Origin. AIAI also represents as an Advisor at the\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>WTO Ministerial Meeting in Singapore, Geneva, and Seattle & Oman besides attending\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>the WTO Forum meetings in Geneva in September every year. AIAI also represents\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

AIAI has organized a number of successful trade fairs such as Auto Expo and three wheelers, Ind Fair, Finance & Investment Exhibition, Innovative Technologies of\u00a0Manufacturing Expo (ITM) in 2008 and 2009. AIAI has also organized the biggest ever\u00a0<\/span>Indian Expo overseas \u201cIndia Initiative 2005\u2019 at Warsaw, Poland. AIAI co-organized the\u00a0<\/span>India International Maritime and Logistics Expo (IIMLE) Expo at Mumbai in association\u00a0<\/span>with the Indian Trade Promotion Organizations (ITPO) and supported by the Ministry\u00a0<\/span>of Shipping. AIAI has also organized Global Economic Summit 2010 on trade and\u00a0<\/span>investments, 2nd Global Economic Summit and Global Expo 2011 with special\u00a0<\/span>emphasis on SMEs Innovation and Technology, 3rd Global Economic Summit 2013 on\u00a0<\/span>Clusters in One World: Perspectives from Many Nations\u201d, 4th Global Economic Summit\u00a0<\/span>2014 on Asia Powering Global Markets: Vision 2025, 5th Global Economic Summit on\u00a0<\/span>\u201cEnabling Food For All\u201d 2015, 6th Global Economic Summit on Women\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Empowerment: \u201cThrough Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Capacity Building\u201d 2017,\u00a0<\/span>7th Global Economic Summit on Global Value Chains: Accelerating SME Growth,\u00a0<\/span>Development and Sustainability 2018 and 8th Global Economic Summit on \u2018Services:\u00a0<\/span>Enabler of Growth for Trade and Industry\u2019 2019 in association with the Word Trade\u00a0<\/span>Centre, supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of Micro,\u00a0<\/span>Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. The Association has also\u00a0<\/span>organized INDIALLIA 2012 a multisector Business Development Forum\/Expo based\u00a0<\/span>on the internationally recognized B2B matchmaking event FUTURALLIA.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Bombay Industries Association is a forum of Industrialists, Businessmen and Professionals having more than 1500+\u00a0<\/span>members representing MSMEs, large scale and low tech to high tech industries.<\/span><\/p>

BIA represents a cross section of industries covering the entire gamut of Industries and its branches. BIA is\u00a0registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

OUR HISTORY:<\/b><\/p>

Representatives of some prominent factories gathered together on 16th February 1948 to form\u00a0<\/span>this Association.<\/span><\/p>

It has a glorious past with chequered history, of innumerable instances where it has raised its voice against the policies of Central & State Government, Quasi Government organizations & Municipal bodies, which affected the interests of Industries, setting up of infrastructural facilities for common man with tremendous successful results over the period of more than six decades. During its useful existence of over six decades, BIA has continued to serve the needs of the industry by acting as a catalyst between government and other bodies and the industrial
