Ved Parkash Dudeja, the former Vice Chairman of Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), has over 36 years\u2019 diverse experience of Railway Infrastructure planning, execution and maintenance. A Civil Engineering Graduate and post-graduate in Structures from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, Dudeja is a \u201cSilent Doer\u201d. As a Project Head, he has commissioned many Railway Infrastructure expansion projects of New Lines, Gauge Conversion and Doubling spread across different States of India, at record breaking speed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the leadership of Shri Dudeja, Rail Land Development Authority has seen a complete transformation, from a non-entity into a force to reckon with, within a short period of just five years, making new records of revenue earning. RLDA\u2019s revenues grew from Rs 80 crores in 2018-19 to Rs 1000 crores in 2023-24 @ 68% CAGR.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He played the pivotal role in driving the ambitious Railway Station Redevelopment initiative of Government of India. Under his leadership, RLDA has finalized Detailed Project Reports of over 70 Stations, including iconic stations like New Delhi, Mumbai CSMT, Surat and Ahmedabad and EPC Contracts of over 65 stations worth Rs 30000 crores were awarded. In addition, RLDA has also been instrumental in finalizing the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme involving over 1200 Stations across the country.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout his illustrious 36-year career, Dudeja has pioneered numerous innovative initiatives that have significantly shaped the growth trajectory of Indian Railways and had a revolutionary impact on India’s development.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His contributions have been recognized with the coveted “Vishishta Seva Praman Patra\u201d by the Minister of Railways in 2015-16, \u2018Infra Business Leader of the Year\u2019 award for 2020 by the Rail Infra and Mobility Business Digital Awards (RIMBDA) and the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ by Realty Plus (BW Business World Group), and many more.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
